Welcome to First Fruits Christian Music. This is a online outreach from a music ministry that spans three decades. We have had the privilege of providing music from coast to coast in liturgical celebrations that include all of the seasons of the calendar, and everything from small prayer groups to renewal conferences and sanctuaries. All of our Mass parts conform to the new Revised Roman Missal. All of our music has been inspired by experiences where our mission has been to get the congregation to SING and PARTICIPATE! Our music it liturgical music and is intended to supplement the liturgy and the celebration of the Word. To that end First Fruits Christian music is written and prepared with the volunteer singer and musician in mind.
We want to inspire participation in mass through our mass settings and offer instrumental, contemplative music that is useful in prayer, for prayer groups and praise and worship. Powerful music is a wonderful assist in evalngelism. It can supplement the spoken word beautifully engendering emotions that help invite prayer, contemplation and even joyful celebration.
You will be able to preview all music selections. Some feature vocal settings; some are instrumental. All provide lead sheets that are down-loadable. They contain melody, lyrics and chord symbols. In some cases, piano parts can be downloaded that include melody, harmony and chord symbols. Where arrangements for voices are provided, they consist primarily of two-part harmony and some use of melody and counter-melody. We expect that this music will be used in church settings.
